Lent 2018 - "The Fierce Urgency of Now"

By:  Rev'd Dr. Johnny Jeffords

“We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there ‘is’ such a thing as being too late. The 40 days of Lent can be a commitment to participate in a charity, or offer help to a neighbor, learn about social justice, attend meetings or classes, anything to help us grow more like Christ, deepen our compassion, and put into practice the faith we proclaim.
