Diving into Deep Blue!
Beginning this September, St. John is introducing a new curriculum for our children! Based on the award-winning Deep Blue Kids Bible, this awe-inspiring resource for children includes adventure, exciting stories, science experiments, arts and crafts, animated video storytelling, and active games - all combined into a living-faith experience that will help children discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ today!
Deep Blue Kids exists to reach, empower, and equip children, and those who care for them, with grace-based resources that help them on the journey to understand themselves as children of God, explore and deepen their relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and love and serve God and neighbor.

Vacation Bible School 2017
Vacation Bible School at St. John’s is a time for children ages 3-12 to come together for a week in the summer to enjoy Christian-based programming, service projects, art, and music activities. This year we partnered with St. Luke's UMC for our VBS during the week of June 5. We had an absolute blast learning about God's love with our new friends!
Parents' Night Out
Children ages 3-12 are invited to join us on the third Wednesday of every month during the school year for Parent's Night Out! The kids will enjoy dinner together, music, and art, all while parent get to spend an hour and a half being adults! We hope you will invite your children's friends to join us as well. See Zach Ferguson if you need a signed release form for your child or their friends. The nursery will also be open during this time to give parents the option to bring their tiniest family members under the age of three as well.
St. John’s is especially blessed to have a faithful and dependable team of nursery workers on staff. We offer nursery services to our littlest members, from ages six weeks to five years young. The nursery is a safe and welcoming place where children can play and learn while their parents and guardians participate in worship or other church functions. Because the safety of children is our most important concern, we abide by practices outlined in our Safe Sanctuary policy. The nursery is open Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and as needed during other church programming.
