Being: The Midweek Worship Experience
Looking for a mid-week spiritual booster shot? If so, Being is just the ticket. During the school year on Wednesdays, a simple
meal is served starting at 6:00 p.m. in the L.P. Brown Fellowship Hall. The 30 minute worship service begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel and is designed around music, prayer, scripture reading, quiet meditation, and simple singing. Dress is causal – come as you are and….BE!

Small Group Study
There are two new small group studies, both groups will meet at 5:30pm. Nina Gourley will lead the Body and Soul group in the Advent room (#307) on the third floor, and I will lead the Bible study in the Sojourner’s room (#305) on the third floor. Nina will focus on both physical and spiritual wholeness and will address the ways a disciplined life leads to this wholeness. The Bible study will involve specific references to the 12 steps and will lead to further Big Book studies. When the groups end at 6:30, all are invited to dinner in the Fellowship Hall, followed at 7 by the Being service.
Dinner
We will begin dinner at 6:00. We serve a delicious light menu along with kid-friendly meal options such as mac and cheese and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The food will be refreshed at 6:30 for the participants in the small group studies.
