Sunday Morning Worship
The primary weekly worship service at St. John’s is a highly creative traditional hour-long service beginning at 10:50. The service includes congregational singing, music specials, a full Chancel Choir, prayer and preaching. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated the first and third Sundays of the month. Dress ranges from casual to simple business attire. A fully staffed nursery is provided for children from birth to age 5.
Being: The Midweek Worship Experience
Looking for a mid-week spiritual booster shot? If so, Being is just the ticket. A simple meal is served starting at 6:00 p.m. in the L.P. Brown Fellowship Hall. Children’s activities focused on art and singing begin at 6:45. The 30-minute worship service begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel and is designed around music, prayer, scripture reading, quiet meditation, and simple singing. Dress is causal – come as you are and….BE!
The Way
The Way is our Friday night worship experience designed to touch your heart and heal your soul. The hour long service begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. in the main sanctuary. Each week, the service is designed around inspiring music, warm fellowship, and an encouraging word that speaks to God’s desire that we each grow in the gift of our wholeness and health in heart, mind, body and soul. A fully staffed nursery is provided for children birth to age 5.
