Everyone is welcome in the garden which has really turned into an outdoor sanctuary.  We only have one rule.  Just take what you need or can share.  We meet on Saturday mornings at 8 a.m most of the year but at 7 a.m. in the heat of the summer.  We grow a variety of crops all year round.  Spring brings asparagus and strawberries.  Our summer crops include okra, tomatoes, eggplants and green beans.  We have our great sweet potato giveaway in the fall and grow greens all winter long.  We also have a compost bin.  Our zinnias and sunflowers have been taken to people all over the city to share the good news that God is fully inclusive and loves everyone.  We are always glad to see new faces and there Is always something to do!  If you are interested in the garden, please email Dawn Lafon at dlafon740@aol.com.
